Notre Dame Red House

Life can have symmetry and it can be a bit ironic. I moved back to my home state after being "away" for 40 years. The school I followed as a kid was Oregon State. I had their bumper sticker on my first car. And, it is likely where I would have gone to this school if not for another University calling me "home." So, how about this....my alma mater plays Oregon State in the soccer semifinals tonight and then squares off against them in El Paso at the Sun Bowl on 12/29. It feels a bit ironic. I will be sporting my Notre Dame colors today and on the 29th. Yet, I will feel the some of the same torn loyalties I felt when Notre Dame played Oregon State in the NIT in the 80's. I was at the game and found myself pulling for both teams. As Lee Corso says, "Not so fast..." Now, I am a bit older and wiser....so it will be all Blue and Gold! Plus, its bragging rights. Go Irish on both counts!

We just returned from the Notre Dame Red House after we picked up our daughter following the completion of her Freshman year. The house looks great. We even threw an impromptu dinner party with my college roommate's family.

The house is still available for the following 2019 🏈🏈 weekends:

New Mexico
Virginia Tech
Boston College

plus - the ND reunion weekend at the end of the month and the US Senior Open in June!

We are also looking for our first ND wedding👰 to host one of the bridal parties! Imagine getting ready with 4.5 bathrooms and making the five minute drive to the Basilica!!!
