Don’t miss this little gem of an eatery when you visit Traverse City.

Well it’s that time of year again! Traverse City is busting at the seams with people who have come here to enjoy it’s beautiful beaches, festivals and food. I feel compelled to remind everyone that patience and kindness are key. We love these busy summer days, they are what keep the lights and heat on in the winter.

Please come and enjoy our food, but we ask that treat our staff with respect. When the roads are full and it’s hard to find parking, then you stand in a line to order food in a packed restaurant it’s safe to expect that you may have to wait a bit for your food. We do our best to give you an accurate wait time. We take orders at the counter but there are also orders coming in on and phone and online. Sometimes the wait is a little longer or shorter then we predict.

While you wait you could sit by the stream that runs next to our patio, go for a quick hike, explore the Commons, sit in the shade in the Piazza, get a glass of wine at Left Foot Charlie’s or pint of beer at Eathen Ales. Spanglish has an incredible location we are surrounded by history and beauty. I hope that everyone who visits us can take a moment and enjoy the beauty of such an unique place. Northern Michigan summers are the best.
