WTF!?!……..If you own/run a bar or restaurant and are ok with this, you shouldn’t be allowed to serve draft beer, wine, soda or cider!! It just shows you only care about the $$ and not the customer or product.

Job Summary
As a Draft Beer Quality Technician (DQT), you are responsible for ensuring local bars/restaurants serve the highest quality pints of draft beer. A typical day will be visiting customer locations to keep their draft beer systems clean and serving great beer as well as building relationships with managers, owners, and bartenders.

Responsibilities and Duties
Draft Beer Quality Technicians clean beer lines in restaurants, breweries, and bars. We also install complete draft beer systems. Candidates must demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, mechanical skills, high integrity, self-motivation, and willingness to provide excellent quality of work and customer service.

Create your own schedule (typically no weekend schedule but regular specialty pay for draft beer system installations).

Qualifications and Skills:
High School Diploma or GED
Must be at least 21 years of age
Have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
Able to lift 50 plus lbs
Hands-on quick learner
No previous experience required as we provide training on draft beer system operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

It’s been nearly a year since our last post. Like everyone else, we were trying to adapt to the world around us during a pandemic. Thankfully, we have pulled through and things are looking fantastic for PourSmith Draught Services.

We are proud to say that PDS is now covering not only Vermont, but parts of Maine, New Hampshire and the Lake Placid/Saranac Lake region of NY. We have also teamed up with a very talented machinist and are now offering custom draft towers. We are immensely grateful to grow almost every day with new accounts interested in line cleanings over the span of four states.

We are looking to add to our team.

Pre-Covid, we teamed up with the amazing folks from Iron Rail Pub and Grill in Nh to build this beautiful custom tower. They’re now officially on the routine cleaning schedule as well!

Black Flannel Brewing!! We ran lines from the serving tanks into the cooler and through a spilt wall bracket with shut offs. This gives them the dual function of running off of the tanks or a keg! From the cooler, the lines run about 100’ to a beautiful mirrored tower. 16 different lines going to each side for a total of 32. Thank you all at Black Flannel for the opportunity!

It has been a while since our last post as we’ve been incredibly busy. From our scheduled routine line cleanings to installations across 3 states, we are rocking it! Our latest job (which we are super excited about) was at American Flatbread and Zero Gravity to redo the entire draft beer system and run all new lines for the serving tanks. After many hours over the course of the last 3 days, we finished and to hear the praises of the folks at Flatbread, we couldn’t be more happy with the outcome! Thank you to everyone over at American Flatbread Burlington Hearth & Zero Gravity Craft Brewery for this amazing opportunity.

Pretty excited that we got a new account this week! Started to setup the recirculating pump and saw this, mold and yeast. This should concern you. Don’t be afraid to ask how often an establishment gets all of their lines cleaned and if it’s more than just the line. The faucets and couplers will build up with mold and yeast quicker than you think.
