Discover an architectural gem just a short walk from the beach, Heavenly Ski Gondola and Heavenly Village. Nestled behind a private meadow and a pair of twin pine trees is our "Chalet de Celeste". Our contemporary mountain home was completed in 2012 emphasizing natural materials with an artful combination of Italian marble and travertine, tumbled river rocks, Brazilian mahogany, glass railings, fl

oating staircases, hand scraped hickory floors, Miele appliances and Grohe finishes throughout. Entering through a slate warming room, the heart of the custom home is the great room on the main living area. The gourmet kitchen is a chef's dream. It has walnut Studio Becker cabinets, high end stainless steel appliances, a built in wine cooler with storage for 20 bottles, under cabinet lighting, an electric range and oven, and a large island topped with a white Calacatta marble slab bar that seats two. The dining table and benches are made from reclaimed Indonesian teak wood with seating for 10. The highlight of the living area is the glass enclosed gas fireplace. There is ample seating on the brompton cocoa leather sofa and club chairs. The 60 inch flat screen can be seen from all areas of the great room so you won't miss a play during the big game. There is an in wall sound system with Bluetooth . The vaulted floor to ceiling windows soar to 30 feet high and automatically lead the eyes out to the picturesque pine tree valley and mountain views. This is the perfect place for entertaining, shooting a game of pool, and relaxing after a long day of skiing next to the gas fireplace. This area is surrounded by a large slate deck that would be perfect for an afternoon BBQ. An elegant custom floating alder wood and glass staircase beneath angled skylights leads from the living area to the master suite. This is truly a retreat with a master spa like bath with his and her vanities, Italian travertine walls and floors, a walk in multi head steam shower and granite bench, heated floors and towel racks, Toto washlet, 20 foot high vaulted ceilings and windows, queen sleigh bed, and full pine tree views. The other two bedrooms are down stairs. The first has a queen sleigh bed. The second bedroom has two twin sleigh beds. There is a bathroom next to the lower bedrooms with a dual head shower and soaking tub, glass blocks, linen closet, dual vanities, heated floors and towel racks, and Italian ceramic walls and floors. The washer and dryer are on this level as well. There is a spacious light filled loft above the living room. This part of the home is perfect as a second living area for the kids or as a private retreat for the in laws. The leather sofa in the living room can also be converted into a queen sized bed. An inflatable aero mattress is also supplied to all of our guests. The home is adorned through out with custom artwork and furniture of which many pieces are designed by members of our family. On the back side of the property a jetted hot tub awaits sunken into it's own private deck. This is a great place to lounge around, soak, and enjoy time with friends and family. There is private parking for up to 2 vehicles on the property. We designed this Chalet to take full advantage of the natural light and Heavenly Valley mountain views, and hope you enjoy the stunning combination of natural materials and exquisite product selections that truly set our dream home apart.
