Hello to all in the extended Cruise Tahoe Family! Thank you Chris for the very kind words and Lauren for your support. I'll do my best to keep up being a caretaker or steward of this fine vessel. You've set a great example with a great crew on how it should be done. We'll continue that.

Look out for new posts in the coming days and months ahead. Some plans are underway for our online presence as well as introducing everyone to Alpenglow Boat Company (www.alpenglowboat.com) and our little classic woody Radiance.

If you all have photos of the Tahoe or were on a cruise, please share. I would love to highlight all the great guests and experiences you've had.

They say you don’t ever own a wood boat, you are just its temporary care taker. Today that reality came full circle for Lauren and I. As of tomorrow morning, our watch will come to an end and the TAHOE, and Cruise Tahoe will have a new watch keeper. We have enjoyed the nearly 10 year run and this is definitely a bittersweet day for us but we want to congratulate and wish well Ed Broadbelt on his new endeavor as owner of the TAHOE and Cruise Tahoe. Ed worked as a crew member with us a few years ago and went on to get his captains lincense and start a small charter boat business, Alpenglow Boat Co. He will be keeping the same amazing staff that has been so loyal to us over the past many years and continuing on the same great partnerships we have built as well. Thanks to all who have helped us build this great business and Congratulations Ed!

THUNDERBIRD yacht makes her annual appearance at Tahoe's American Century Championship minutes before Thunderbird Lodge and Yacht - Lake Tahoe pal Stephen Curry sunk a long eagle putt on the 18th to win the Championship. Congratulations Stephen Curry, and the crew has a bottle of Gentleman's Cut bourbon onboard for your next cruise.
