Striper Migration Maps are back. After another mild winter, water temperatures are above average (similar to what we saw in 2023). Inshore waters of the Chesapeake are warming past 50 degrees and bass are moving into the tributaries to spawn.

Hotter than Hades in Portland, but a cool sea breeze blowing out on the bay. Great striper action, today, too.

A beautiful and busy day on the Bay today with three separate family "adventures". We had a great time with a "shoal" of 10 or more porpoises swimming next to and under the boat directly off Portland Headlight this morning. This is the time of year where we see an amazing amount of cool wildlife.
