A small plane went to find the dead minke whale we spotted off Chatham a few days ago. They found this great white shark circling it and multiple new holes taken out of it. Here is the thing, a great white shark won't attack a healthy minke whale. This is proof that the holes taken out of the whale were not it's cause of death. What else could have killed another whale in the Northeast?

I'd love some solid details behind the death of this whale we found today off Chatham. Today's trip was a pelagic birding trip. Luckily for my guests, the whale had a bunch of good birds surrounding it.

The possible shark bite was not the cause of expiration, in my opinion. It was, however, still actively bleeding through that hole. What are your thoughts?

Finally!! A big hats off to Cape Cod hospital, Dr French, Dr. Slater, Dr Oppenheimer, Dr. Miller, and all the amazing nurses and cna's for listening and following through with absolute integrity and determination, allowing me a shot at making this season count. I finally have answers that make sense, and that will give me the confidence to live freely without the chains I've been dragging around for too long.

As I'm sure most of you know, 2023 was a difficult year for Pythias and myself. Through trials and tribulations/finacial woes, and a very stressful offseason, Pythias is still at its best ever (Im just aging) 🤣 The rebuild proved beneficial as this boat has many good years to come. I've personally sacrificed more then imagined to keep her running and under my ownership. It's gonna take more, but I'm all in. As the story goes, Damon never gave up on Pythias.

MLK said it best. "If you can't fly, then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward."

I'm sure some have heard rumors about relapse, giving up, misuse of medications.. I'm here to put a stop to that. Arthritis and neuropathy ran a good beating on me. It took some time to get it under control and get the help needed. Grateful that help has come in many ways, and it has made my spirit rejuvenated and a reminder as to why I give so much to do what I do. To make people smile. The family I've built around this business... I can't be without. There is a lot of work ahead, but I'm hard at it, day in and out. We will open the 2024 calendar soon and want to give the people who missed their trips last year another shot first. I'll be reaching out soon to find ways to remedy this. Deposits will be 10% of the private charter cost until April 1, moving then to 20% for the season. The schedule will remain like last year (an earlier start) with hopefully more kids trips and eco/birding tours. Any questions, please call direct, or message me at 305 896 0674.
