Follow along in our journey to take this waterfront ranch style home from fixer upper to a fabulous Outer Banks retreat.

This 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home will be welcoming guests in late fall 2021.

We are making progress with the house but it’s slower to get to the fun things than planned. Sharing a picture of the view from the across the street instead of the new septic system that recently went in. Not all progress is pretty but necessary & will be worth in the long run. The new septic will allow for 4 bedrooms instead of 3 so we are excited 🎉 about septic!!

New windows arrived! Can’t wait to see how the bright white changes the whole exterior. Going from drab to fab! Slow but steady progress to turn this home into a relaxing retreat for families.

Bulkhead and dock are underway. Will be a great spot to launch a canoe or do some paddle boarding. 🛶 ⛵️

Canal in front of Roofer’s Retreat. The house is only a few minutes to the beach, golf, or shops but tucked back in here, it’s easy to forget about all that. It’s a quiet oasis.

Spent some time checking out the progress at Roofer’s Retreat OBX this weekend. This is the backyard view. 😍 Roofer’s Retreat will have a dock and great outdoor space to enjoy this view. Fishing, crabbing, s’more making, star gazing... much fun to imagine happening here.

We will continue sharing pictures as work processes. We may be ready to welcome some families for late 2021 but will be opening our calendar for 2022 later this summer. We’d love for your family to make memories here!
