Summer is here. Lots of work has been done to get ready for the new season, the biggest being a new roof. Interior and exterior painting, window sashes replaced where needed. It’s a gradual process. For those of you who are repeat guests I hope you enjoy the little updates. More to come.

Atlantic Breezes, our home away from home. No place better to spend time on the beach. These could be your views too. Are you looking for a simple place to vacation with your family. Quiet and right across the street (private) to the beach. Great when you have small children. Historic Flat Top cottage, beautifully maintained, a duplex where you can rent one side or both depending on how much space you need. Wonderful new huge front porch and back deck. Maybe you want to wait for the weather to cool down a little bit! Come to the Outer Banks in September!! It is a perfect time to visit. The crowds have calmed down but there is still plenty to do. Some of the best weather of the year!

This goes to show you what a small world it is. I am one of the owners daughters and my dear friend just texted this picture to me today and asked "isn't this your parents cottage?" Her brother-in-law painted it and said it is where he used to vacation in the summer. It warms my heart to know that someone loved it so much that they painted it for the wonderful memories.
