This amazing historic 8 sided school house is in our neighborhood! Travel down schulein Road for several miles and you’ll spot it quickly on the left. The eight sides allow light to enter on each direction. This used to be the home in the Corn fest that featured all you can eat Illini corn on the cob & home grown tomatoes. Served with fried chicken and homemade corn pudding by servers in period clothing. Mona Star Jones one of the teachers at the school house would share her stories of teaching in years past.
