Traveling is back. There are new challenges because of the impact of Covid-19. However, with great diligence, we are getting our clients off to the Caribbean, Europe, Iceland, Africa, Thailand, Japan and beyond. Some of us are working at home, I am in the office for appointments. We are selling cruises, independent tours, family reunions, and escorted vacations. We are protecting ourselves against the airlines. Although we have the license to do airline reservations, we are finding, at this time, the airlines prefer direct bookings...so we have backed off a bit.
July 1, 2023, we will celebrate our 53rd anniversary and we are still standing, or sitting in front of a computer. There are still many people who prefer to deal with a travel agent. Hello everyone. All the agents are still booking travel and keeping up with the constant changes globally.! We will be working by appointment only. I’m in the office for appointments and holding down the fort. It has been a difficult year for travel especially as the health crisis is global. So we persevere. We are all very experienced agents and plan trips with careful diligence.

We are slowly getting back to business, but with great care as each destination still has its own protocol. Everyone at Argosy is ready and willing. However, many in the industry have been furloughed and vacations take more time to book. We persevere as we have done for many years. The global impact has been great but we do diligence to see that those who wish to travel are educated to this changed world and are safe.
