Congrats to Mark Stubbs- The Bahamas newest pilot! He passed his check ride today with DPE Joe Rodgers in our PA-28-140 after just 48 hours training. 15 days from zero to private pilot - my personal best as an instructor. Accelerated flight training- it’s what I do!

Congrats to Mark Stubbs who soloed today in our PA28-140 Cherokee. Mark came all the way from Nassau Bahamas to fly with me. We started this past Sunday afternoon. Five days later he is past solo and well on his way toward his check ride. Accelerated flight training is what I do.

Saw this pretty, 85 hp. Cub on the ramp at Okechobee Fl. (KOBE).The owner flew it all the way from California and was on his way back. Two 8 gallon wing tanks gives him 5 hours endurance - No electrics, no starter, hand held radio- what a wonderful adventure!
I would love to do that in my Cub.

Congrats to Chris Underwood who earned his Multi Engine add on rating with me today in his new (to him) Cessna Turbo 310 R, with Tim Mitchell DPE. That’s a big step up from the C182 he was flying.

Congrats to Daniel Dambrowski, who earned his Private Pilot, Multi Engine rating today in our (new to us) Cessna 310 R, with DPE Tim Mitchell. To make it even better- today is Daniel’s Dad’s birthday. Daniels Dad is a retired Fed-Ex pilot. Possibly the greatest birthday gift a kid could give his father!
