He specializes in 1911-style pistols, AR-15s, revolvers, and bolt action rifles. His collection consists of antique World War pieces, and other contemporary mod

els, rounding out his skill. Over forty years’ worth of handling, competing, and enjoying the world of firearms has created a foundation of experience unique in its own. His attention to detail provides accurate, safe, and exceptional cosmetic and functional gunsmith work. If something is not completed with absolute, above-satisfactory results, it will be done again until it meets the high standards of his work. Darren enjoys participating as a competitor and safety officer in local Idaho IDPA matches. His remaining time is spent in his at-home custom gun shop experimenting and discovering better builds for his projects, or taking a trip to the range with family and friends. He was a cowboy action shooter under the name of ‘Dakota Dillon’ in SASS, which led to numerous awards. He has incorporated his love of and experience with firearms throughout his life, educating his children, and others, of the importance of our 2nd Amendment right and the significance of safety involved.
