Last Friday we got to participate in the Pennsylvania State Police Academy’s Safety Awareness Training for Commercial Motor Vehicles. This event is put on by the Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association in conjunction with the Pennsylvania State Police Academy and is an important part of their training! Baileys firmly believes in supporting our Police and first responders and we consider it our privilege to participate by donating a motorcoach to be onsite for every cadet class! Today we celebrated the life of one of our young mechanics who was taken way too soon from a snowmobile accident. We took a bus in Zach’s honor to say our goodbyes. Zach- we will miss you 🙏🛠️💗

Earlier this week we unexpectedly lost a member of Team Bailey. Zach was an apprentice diesel technician, and we were all looking forward to him joining our team full-time once he graduated in the spring from Thaddeus Stevens. Zach was thoughtful, kind and always willing to lend a helping hand. He had a bright future ahead of him, and his loss is felt acutely by all of us at the Bailey Family of Companies.

Today we celebrated our newest soon-to-be member of the Bailey Family! Our office got together and threw our Marketing Coordinator Brittany, a surprise baseball themed baby shower. We were visited by not only her husband but also had an appearance from the York Revolution Mascot, Downtown! Baby Beam will be here in just a few weeks and will be attending baseball games with Mom and Dad before we know it!

2023 All Vets Kick Off

This morning, we sent off approximately 350 Veterans and guests to The National Museum of the United States Army. The morning was such a great success, and we would like our community's help to make their welcome home this evening just as wonderful. Buses are expected to arrive back at the York Fairground at 6:00 pm this evening. We kindly request that those who would like to welcome our Veterans home show up no later than 5:30 pm at gate 6 (off Highland Ave) so we can get everyone set up and ready for their arrival. Signs, flags, and glow-in-the-dark items are highly encouraged.

Can you help us identify the company or owner of the flatbed truck?

Last Thursday at around 5:30pm one of our sedan drivers was driving along I-83 Southbound near exit 39 when a piece of debris flies off the flatbed truck in the right-hand lane and smashed the windshield of one of our fleet vehicles. We are thankful for our driver's cool and collected response to the situation, and even more thankful that he was safe and unharmed. We are looking to see if anyone is able to help us identify the company or owner of the flatbed truck?

Being an administrative professional and/or reservation agent means handling a variety of tasks on a daily basis while being organized and adapting to whatever may be thrown at them. They are the ones answering the phones, helping clients, booking charters, scheduling, and setting up meetings, planning both internal and external events, and some of them work outside of normal business hours to make sure that there is someone on call if something goes wrong. We wouldn’t be able to successfully run this business without them as they are a crucial part of our team and our day-to-day operations. Yesterday afternoon, the Bailey Team came together to celebrate the end of our 2022 Campaign for United Way of York County ! Our team surpassed the goal by 17% and had 100% participation.
