HAUNTED PLACES…

CRY BABY BRIDGE, Lufkin, Texas.
“Cry Baby Bridge" over Jack Creek on County Road 54B, also known as Cry Baby Creek or Boxcar Road, Lufkin.
Jack Creek Bridge , a stream west of Lufkin, has for years been known as Cry Baby Bridge , supposedly because years ago a women and a baby died when their auto veered off the wooden bridge. Visitors who come to the site at night claim they have heard sounds resembling a baby crying. One visitor supposedly found the imprint of a baby’s hand on her auto window after returning from the bridge. All you have to do is park your car , turn off the engine and lights and you possible might hear the baby crying . It has also been reported that the ghost of the mother “Angelina” is seen searching the area for her baby. At only one and a half hours from Houston it was make a great creepy road trip . HAUNTED PLACES !!!
STAGECOACH ROAD , Marshall, Texas.
A road tucked away in the East Texas Pine Curtain in Marshall, Texas. It's an old red dirt road that has overgrown branches in some areas and blocks the sun and at night it blocks the moonlight so is always very dark . If you're looking for a creepy unsettling scary drive this may be the road for you . But be warned , this road at night is only for the brave.
This road was well traveled before the Civil War in the mid 1800s. Once the expanse of the railroad made its way through East Texas travel on the stagecoach road dramatically declined. Even though this road is registered as a historical site, there is not a historical marker on the actual road.
Although the road has been maintained by the county, they have wanted to keep a lot of the road as original as possible.
Many various types of hauntings have been reported such as a man who was hung from a tree’s ghostly feet will bump on your roof as you drive past . An apparition of a lady dressed in white looking for her spectral children , ghosts of long dead mangled and grizzly looking civil war soldiers, hand prints on your car and many more ..some have even speculated that a demon was summoned here many years ago.
The stories shared of spooky encounters from this old road will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up and are off the charts scary. If you’re planning a trip up to Shreveport then you may consider checking out this haunted stretch of road on your way .. if you dare, we could not imagine how scary this would be in the dark !! . We had a fantastic night last night in our fav place in Town Trilogy Brew
They make THE best coffees and we loved this little lager with a hint of lime and salt .. not to mention the can is cool ..grab a cool drink before or after the tours! It’s a great place to hang plus you might get some ghostly company !
