Let's cruise on and talk about how to choose the right one for you and your family 🚢

There are a few factors to consider when picking out your cruise vacation, such as:

📅 When you want to sail
🌴 If there is a particular destination you'd like to visit or depart from - Alaska, one/both private islands, or depart from Galveston
🚢 If there is a specific ship you wish to sail upon. Every ship in the Disney fleet has its own special magic
🎤 For the Broadway fans, what shows you want to see (Beauty and the Beast is my personal favorite!)

Let's talk about the ports I visited last week on the Disney Wish 🚢

This was a very special cruise as it was the first time the Wish had called upon Disney's newest private island, Lookout Cay! 🏝️ The island has beautiful white (and slightly pink!) sandy beaches. Most of the beach and water activites are a short tram ride away. from the pier.

Upon arrival at the second tram stop, we were greeted with colorful shops and photo opportunities. A short walk beyond that were a few beach bars, food buffets, the cultural center, adults only area and the beach. Food and drink served at the buffet was included with our cruise and we also enjoyed a delicious tea from the smoothie bar 🍹

After lunch and some playtime on the beach, we went over to the cultural center to watch Junkanoo!, a very bright, colorful parade with local musicians and dancers

🚢 As requested, a post dedicated to the pools on the Disney Wish! 🚢

There are LOTS to choose from on this ship! On the main deck, there are 5 pools, plus two more a little farther forward, and another in the adults only area! And we haven't even talked about the special pools for little ones, hot tubes, or the slides 💦

This is a great festival for lots of different art forms including:
