Straight from Doctor Disney himself! I’m so excited for this to be a reality at Disney World’s Animal Kingdom. 💝

Things are officially underway for the Family Madrigal - The SFWMD has approved the permit for the new Tropical Americas land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom 🏝️

The permit is listed as “active” on the South Florida Water Management District’s database with an expiration date of February 6, 2030.

The permit, issued for “Project Ro” on February 6, 2025, authorizes modifications to existing infrastructure…this includes stormwater management enhancements, to support the redevelopment of Dinoland U.S.A. 🦖

Last month, parts of DinoLand closed permanently and demolition began 🚧

Once completed - scheduled to open in 2027 - the Tropical Americas land will have an “Encanto” attraction, Indiana Jones attraction, wood-carved carousel, and more 🏠

Guess where Sophia and I are going in 2027??? Who else loves Encanto and the Family Madigral?

🚨Dine & Play is back at Disney Cruise Line🚨

Beginning Feb. 1, Disney Cruise Line will bring back Dine and Play in a phased approach across the fleet. This offering allows children to participate in fun and engaging activities while adults enjoy a leisurely dining experience.

Dine and Play is only for the children of guests with second seating. Once you tell your server you want to participate, they’ll bring dinner quickly for your kiddos so you can then bring them to the counselors at the dining room entrance at 9pm. Then the adults get to enjoy their entrees and the kids get to play! It’s a win/win!

The phased return schedule:

Feb. 1: Disney Treasure and Disney Dream
Feb. 2: Disney Fantasy and Disney Magic
Feb. 3: Disney Wonder and Disney Wish

Welcome back to what did I eat on Virgin Voyages’ Valiant Lady! Check out these items from their version of quick service meals!

Typically I was so excited to eat that I failed to snap pictures of my PIZZA 🍕, ice cream cones from Lick Me Till Ice Cream 🍦, and cheeseburgers and sooo much more!

From fancy ramen to buffalo mozzarella panini, all day breakfast and sooo much many pastries! There is something for everyone.

The only thing not included was a fancy coffee and the alcohol.

But wait there are MORE dining options onboard the Valiant Lady from Virgin Voyages.

Pink Agave - is there twist on Mexican and one of my favorite meals despite no chips and salsa on the table to fill up on! I loved the ribeye with cheese sauce. Yum!

The Wake - meal #1 was brunch no bacon slices BUT there was bacon in the clam chowder… and it was delicious. Check out the comments for the video of the presentation too!

Extra Virgin- our Italian dining location of course! I’m a sucker for bread! There’s was so soft and just perfect for dipping.

The Wake - meal #2 was dinner and it did not disappoint. So what if we tried all of the desserts. We did it for all of you!

We are back from our Virgin Voyages cruise on Valiant Lady and it’s time to share my favs with you! Let’s start with food!!! They included their specialty restaurants at no additional charge (minus a few items that have separate charges like a dozen oysters for example).

Gunbae- our dinner the 1st night featuring Korean BBQ

Razzle Dazzle - brunch offering primarily vegan options with a side of “naughty” such as candied bacon

The Test Kitchen - our 2nd dinner provides guests with a Michellin star quality restaurant and those green mashed potatoes were blended with asparagus!
