In the midst of violence and upheaval, these Haitian children know where to find true peace. Please pray that our God of peace will miraculously transform the situation in Haiti and keep them and their families safe
The hours before and after school, when mothers are at work, are often the most dangerous for girls who attend our schools. The Chicas de Promesa program gives girls a safe place to go and teaches them to see themselves the way God does — as people of incredible worth and purpose. Your funding will provide space, equipment, personnel and so much more to make these programs possible.
We did it! Together we raised more than $68,000 toward our Hope & Freedom Matching Challenge campaign to expand the school in Quibdó, Colombia. Soon, this school that is bursting at the seams will have 6 new classrooms (2 already finished), giving these students the room they need to learn and grow and allowing the school to reach even more children in this impoverished community. Thank you for helping us bring these precious children a quality education and hope for the future!

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, ChildHope teachers have been a constant thread of love and care in the lives of their students. Whether making home visits during lockdowns, tutoring over cellphones or loving kids behind masks in classrooms, our teachers are dedicated to making sure their students don’t fall behind or forget how much they are loved.
Happy Independence Day, America! May God continue to bless us, so that we can, in turn, bless others.
Thanks to a generous gift from Christian Life Center (Dayton, Ohio), kindergarteners at Los Guido school in Costa Rica were able to walk into brand new kindergarten classrooms for the first time last week. Just look at how excited they are!
The ChildHope school in Quibdó, Colombia is bringing hope to students living in a community plagued by extreme poverty, gang violence and drugs. But there are many more children there who need our help. A $30,000 matching challenge will double every gift we receive to add 6 more classrooms and bring hope and freedom to even more children! childhopeonline.org/quibdo #hopeandfreedommatchingchallenge
¡Feliz Día del Niño, Guatemala! Today is National Children’s Day in Guatemala. Children in ChildHope schools across the country will be spoiled with parties, special food and games. ¡Dios los bendiga, preciosos!
COVID-19 is still raging across Latin America and the Caribbean. But our students aren’t being left behind. Even when classes can’t meet in person, our teachers work hard to stay connected and encourage them to grow spiritually. Please, continue to pray for our ChildHope students, their families and teachers! Imagine what it’s like for a family who lives in the communities where ChildHope serves …
------------
You work hard to provide for your family, but suddenly you can no longer work. COVID-19 changed your life and took many of your family members. You hoped for life to get back to normal, but suddenly the virus is spreading again. The future seems grim, hopeless even.
Then you look around your home and see what you hold most dear — your children. You see hope in their eyes.
They have been at home, for the most part, for more than a year … but their teachers have been in constant touch with them. They send work home, record lessons and messages using the technology you have available — maybe it is just a cell phone — but your children can hear their teachers’ voices. They can sense their love and experience the love of Jesus through them.
--------------
This is the reality of the families of most of our ChildHope students — both the crisis and the hope that comes from a life transformed by a relationship with Jesus and the growth that brings to every area of life.
You did it! We did it! God did it! $100,000 raised toward our $100,000 Wings of Freedom Matching Challenge campaign to build a new school for the children in the Wings of Freedom community of San Isidro, Dominican Republic. We’ve already broken ground on this new building. Soon these children will have the space they need to learn and the school will eventually be able to reach up to 400 more children in this desperately needy community. Thank you for being the arms of Jesus to embrace these children and give them wings to soar!
500 children from the community of San Isidro in the Dominican Republic are learning as best they can in a cramped and overcrowded rental house. And there are so many more students who want to attend, but there just isn’t any room. They need a new building. And we have a plan! We’ve purchased the land and broken ground on a new school that will better serve not only these 500 children, but eventually 400 more. Learn how your gift can be doubled to help give these children a dignified place to learn: https://www.childhopeonline.org/wings-of-freedom
