We are in for some cold temperatures! Please let the cold water drip from a faucet. Running water through the pipe-only the size of the lead of a pencil —helps prevent pipes from freezing.

A MESSAGE FROM BAND BOOSTERS:

Band Boosters... CALLING ALL SPRINGPORT COMMUNITY MEMBERS! We have started Band Boosters back up again. The BAND IS OUR PEP, ENERGY, AND STEAM! We are just asking people in our local community to save your cans and bottles to donate for Band Supplies! ( reeds, oil, someday instruments) If you build it they will come! We want to build our Arts! It starts at Home 💙🤍🖤

Please be looking for things to come home. If you can not make drop off please reach out to Christa Ley at (517) 358-2915. One of the Booster Members will be by to pick up. (WE WANT TO MAKE THIS SO EASY FOR YOU!) The kids will be responsible with Booster Members for returning. All money WILL GO TO THE BANDS!! (6TH, 7th and 8th Festival Band, and High School Band!)

MEET & GREET!
Do you know your Village Staff? We have had some changes over the last few months so here is an update:
Collin Hawes, Ulitities Operator (Years with the Village: 7)
Alex Cook, Grounds/Maintenance Supervisor (Years with the Village: 4.5)
Theresa Woolworth, Clerk/Treasurer (Years with the Village: 2.5)
Kim Gardiner, Administrative Assistant (Time with the Village: 6 months)
Jodie Saylors, Village Manager (Years with the Village: 2.5)

Also, we have a newly elected Village President, Joshua Barnette. He has been on Village Council for two years. You can stop in and say hello to Village staff anytime during normal business hours. Joshua Barnette will be in the office on Wednesday December 18th from noon until 1pm to meet and greet village residents. Please stop in and say hello!
