Brewsters Lodge- Grandma’s House has been going through some more improvements. We sanded the floor in the front bedroom, the Livingroom and the kitchen; then painted each floor with glossy polyurethane.

Brewsters Lodge Office, GM’s House, GP’s House, the railroad tunnel, creek and WV Rt. 16. It’s hard to say how many inches of snow we have. It has been snowing, melting, freezing, snowing off and on for a week now. We literally have a Winter Wonderland!

I love snow and I love my Momma’s tradition of making snow cream! Using Sweetened Condensed Milk is the easy way. But Momma always used Cream, Sugar and Vanilla because we always had that in the cabinet. This recipe calls for milk, I suggest you use cream instead. Enjoy your snow cream!!!!!

Brewsters Lodge-GM’s House Floor Update: We have finished 3 coats of polyurethane on the back bedroom and dining room floors. We used Satin instead of Glossy or Semi-gloss. The Satin seems to fit a 105 year old house better. We will put these rooms back like they were then move on to the next. Hope everyone likes the improvement!😊
