Dixie D's Canteen a 1940s USO Show
Uncle Sam wants YOU…to step back in time as Dixie D's Canteen, a 1940s USO Show reports for duty at the Foundry Art Centre! Join us Saturday, August 27, at 7 PM for the area's premier USO show, a one-night-only event as educational as it is entertaining. Presided over by the “hostess with the mostest,” Dixie Denier, the main show will feature a swell line up of singers, swing dancers, comedians, burlesque, and more along with special musical guests, The Gaslight Squares.

Foundry Art Centre Studio Artist Jessie Schoenrock is teaming up with the Foundry to bring you a hands-on clay workshop in celebration of "Palentines" during the Foundry's February First Friday event!
In addition to throwing clay in the Foundry's Grand Hall, pals will be able to enjoy candle-pouring with @theowlperchvintage AND refreshments, including a themed Palentines cocktail. Local musician Terrance Wafer will provide the evening's soundtrack.
Pals will have plenty of free activities in addition to paid workshops hosted by our lovely local business owners. Free art making will be available all evening long and will include valentine making and DIY wooden signs. Bring your friend, your child, your beau, your pal, and celebrate the Foundry's first-ever Palentines.

On July 31st, up to 200 competitive BMX and MTB racers: 100 men and 100 women vying for a spot in the World event. Riders from Missouri and beyond will race against the clock on the largest asphalt pump track in the nation at Kinetic Park. The top four men and women from this qualifier will advance to the Red Bull UCI Pump Track World Championships held in Europe later this year.
