Note to everyone... when parking at Disney Parks (I.e. not using Disney Transportation from a resort) make sure you take a pic of your parking markers ... after a long day, it’s hard to remember where you are in these huge parking lots. .

Folks!! It’s time for the 25th Epcot Flower & Garden Festival!!! Check out this video from Disney Parks Blog. It always amazes me how quickly they transform the parks. If you haven’t seen this in person & you love the Disney parks it’s a must! Much like the Food & Wine Festival they have lots of yummy food vendors all through the World. And the topiaries and other garden decor are simply beautiful!

Check it out!!! Let’s talk about my tour of the Disney Dream! The minute Mickey welcomes you on board, you are immersed in luxury and class like no other. This is one of their two bigger ships, and while I could tell there was much more room than the Wonder and Magic, I didn’t feel overwhelmed.

SeaWorld Orlando is a great park to visit! I had an awesome time spending the day with our partners there and learning about all the great things SeaWorld does to care for their animals, as well as wild ones in the Florida region during our Behind the Scenes tour (which you can do, too).

Did you know that the Florida Fish and Wildlife will contact SeaWorld any time they find a marine, and some aviary, animals in distress?? Yep, and SeaWorld jumps in to help rescue, rehabilitate and release the animals back in the wild (when possible). Whether they can release the animal is governed by the State of Florida. Each animal they rescue is reviewed and approved for release. If an animal is deemed not releasable, the state decides for continued stay with SeaWorld or other partner agencies. For example, if an animal is not able to hunt for themselves.

Check out the TV show SeaRescue, do some research on your own through Google and sites like SeaWorldCares.com, and come to your own conclusions. I, for one, have an appreciation for what they do ... and visiting them made me wish I continued with my dream to be a marine biologist.

Oh, and the roller coaster rides they have are fun, too! 😊

I am traveling off the theme park path today and headed to Winter Park, FL for the afternoon. I found Park Station Cuisine for lunch and went for their Rustic Burger (no bun) and bottomless mimosas. Um... Awesomesauce yummy!!

Wow!! What an awesome day yesterday! I learned soooo much in one action packed day!! I cannot wait to show you a few highlights... so here goes. I’ll start with Discovery Cove and post about SeaWorld next.

Discovery Cove - All Inclusive day resort where you can swim, snorkel and eat & drink to your hearts content. Basic beer and wine is included along with soda and water. If you want to add on to your visit, you can add packages such as: swim with dolphins, rent a cabana for up to 6 people (sometimes they allow 10), SeaVentures, upgraded drinks, and dolphin encounter pictures. AND, with your admission, you get 14 days of admission to SeaWorld AND Aquatica (water park). You can even upgrade that and get admission to Busch Gardens, Tampa Bay! AWESOME deal I tell you!
