Come on up to Buckhorn Cabin or if you’re in the St. Germain area Saturday, February 19th you have to experience the awesomeness the trails at night illuminated by candlelight. Not many places quieter then the snow covered woods at night.

Wisconsin provides more than 25,000 miles of pristine snowmobile trails. It’s no surprise that snowmobiling is an huge part of winter fun in the state.

When you’re staying at Buckhorn Cabin take the 1 1/2 hour drive up to the UP and visit Bond Falls. We’ve mentioned this before but it’s well worth repeating.

If you’re ever here with a boat make sure you go for a sunset cruise and watch it through the trees on the island. You’ll get a second sunset on your way back to the dock as well.

I bet they had the whole lake to themselves. There’s moments even today you can feel alone on Big St. Germain. Come on up and experience lake life one day at a time. Postcard dated 1908.
