The stars aligned, pieces started falling into place and I pursued a career that feeds my soul. I have been working full time as a travel agent, honing into the intricacies that surround the industry, booking trips, developing relationships, enrolling in endless destination trainings, traveling to various locations to do site visits to get firsthand knowledge and to build a solid foundation for th

e future. I work for a store front agency in Sunset Hills, Sky High Travel. We have been featured on Fox 2 News during their Bon Voyage segments over the past 6 months. We have been interviewed multiple times to give insight on different travel trends and concerns in the news. You may have also heard about us on Y98 for our cobranded trip giveaway to see Taylor Swift in Vegas or as the 2022 St. We all work really hard to maintain a high level of service and to promote travel in various ways. I know a lot of people book trips on different online searches (I did and still do in certain situations). In fact, I didn’t use my first Travel Advisor until January of 2022. It seemed foreign to pay for a service that you are technically capable of but fun fact - resorts have a built-in commission in their “product”. You are paying for a travel advisor regardless of where you book. That money either stays within the brand, goes to Expedia (or other websites) in exchange for a 1-800 number or can come to a person that you have direct access to. Further I have access to different tour operators and different coupons that often times I can bundle, flights, resorts, transfers and insurance and get a better package price. Also, most of the trips I plan give you an option place a deposit on your trip, make payments that work for you up until a final pay date, access to a price match guarantee in the event that your package price drops and the peace of mind of a insurance policy that allows you to cancel for any reason. Coming into Santorini was foggy and mystical. I loved the hat it owned u to a bright sunny day.

Things I didn’t know I knew - the hair in turns in a giant bus are navigated with revision here in Santorin, Oia is a place I just want to sit and do nothing on a pool overlooking g the caldera, Margarita was a beautiful human, don’t take plastic water bottles on to the island because they have to pay to export them for recycling ….

So much to take in.

96% that was their occupancy level today. 96% of the rooms in their inventory were filled today. That is crazy high. The are definitely doing something right and have quite the following. Sandals Antigua was the first Sandals outside of their mother land of Jamaica. They have a room type for everyone - from entry level to butler/club level with varying degrees of amenities and privacy.

The beach is incredible… add in that they include snorkeling, hobby cats, paddle boards, sail boats, SCUBA dives plus lots of extra and you have the perfect environment for activity lovers or just lovers.

Connecting rooms available and can be guaranteed!! This is huge because there are so many resorts that just cannot accommodate.

I do think it is worth mentioning that their kids club went the extra mile for a little girls birthday and had the kids club decorated with balloons and while we were touring the property they were cleaning because their afternoon activity was science and “a bit messy”. Genuine happiness from the staff and participants.
