This is # # #. My friend # # # and I were both on the March First, “12 Day Classic Vietnam Trip” with GATE 1 Travel. I believe I am speaking for both of us in saying the trip was very professional in every aspect; including the meals, transportation, and accommodations.
Most impressive was our Tour Guide, Kan, who was very personable, in fact, by the second day, he knew everyone’s name. Being a citizen of the country gave him the unique ability to explain our two countries past histories and what that means to today’s Vietnamese people. His knowledge of the county seemed a like a walking database of information and interesting relatable stories. Kan has the envious ability to handle potentially bad situations as fast as they arise with a magical phone call that fixes them instantly, all while the smile never leaves his face. Kan is very impressive and a proud representative of his country!
I know that I walked away with a totally different and much better understanding of a county that had a deep unpleasant historical past with my generation. I am extremely glad I took the trip and will certainly recommend it to others.

"Thanks so much for a remarkable trip. We think it was one of our most memorable bus trips. We had the very best "Tour Manager" of all time leading us. What a memory!!! We will never forget. The shows were absolutely tremendously fabulous!! Wow!!! The tribute presented at the end of the shows to our US Veterans and our Country was very moving and I couldn't help but lose a few tears in memory of those close friends that we lost in combat in Vietnam. I know that many of us also lost loved in various World Wars as well and you can't diminish any and all efforts of those in other wars; Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, Desert Storm and others. God Bless America!! My feelings for our USA have been lifted and I feel a renewed vigor for us all. Thanks again, Christen. We can't wait until we tour again with you! You ARE the Best!!
