That is exactly what Sean Marshall has done for the last few years (he is currently on an “America Break”) which took his family (his wife and three daughters) to the Caribbean island of Cozumel for two years, and to Europe for a half year living in Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Scotland, & England.

After being laid off 6 years ago, Sean started Social Rocketship, an online marketing company which eventually became a one stop shop to help businesses with their websites, SEO, content marketing, email, and social media. After building the right team, Sean now works about 5-10 hours/week.
