Two of the most fascinating cities in Europe are Prague and Vienna. This year we will experience the Christmas season in each of these wonderful places. We will begin our adventure in Prague, exploring Old Town with its beautiful architecture and visiting breweries and Christmas Markets. Our travels will take us to several surrounding cities and historic sites as we visit both of these historical cities.

From Prague we travel to Vienna and it's numerous Christmas Markets, each distinctly different. We will explore the best of these, along with area breweries all while experiencing the rich beauty and culture this historic city has to offer.

Late in November, European cities magically transform into Christmas wonderlands with festive decorations. Markets appear in town squares and the air is filled with holiday joy and holiday spirit. Without a doubt, Germany offers some of the best Christmas Markets. We will visit both large and small Christmas markets in Leipzig, Dresden, Munich, Bamberg, Rothenburg ob der Tauber and Cologne, all while immersing ourselves in the local culture.

This is going to be an fantastic tour! We begin our adventure in Brussels where we will spend two days visiting area breweries and tap houses. While here, will also attend the Belgian Beer Weekend Festival. Next, we will move to Brugge where we will spend the rest of our trip exploring West Belgium. Our tour culminates with the Brugge Beer Festival. During our trip we will visit over a dozen breweries, a hop farm, attend two beer festivals and visit numerous tap houses and museums.

This is a unique tour in that we will experience two weekends of special events in Belgium. Our first weekend is in Brussels and features Belgium Beer Weekend followed by the iconic Bruges Beer Festival the second weekend. During our week-long adventure, we will visit numerous iconic breweries in Belgium, take three “road trips” and sample some of the best beer Belgium has to offer.

Yesterday was the last day of our trip and we traveled to Essen for the Kerstbier Festival, a festival with over 200 beers, mostly Christmas beers. It was a great crowd and we had a wonderful time. Today we say our goodbyes and leave for home or to our next adventure.

We had fun yesterday in Antwerp visiting the DIVA museum, Christmas Markets and De Koninck, to name a few.

We spent yesterday in Amsterdam exploring the canals and visiting Van Gogh Museum, De Bekeerde Suster and the Anne Frank House , among others. Today we visited Ghent and St Bavo's Cathedral, Ghent, Brewery, Stadsbrouwerij Gruut, Dulle G***t and Trollekelder .

Our Christmas in Belgium tour officially began today with a tour of the city, visits to the Christmas Markets in Brussles and a visit to Brasserie de la Senne.

We spent our final day of our tour in Dusseldorf before returning to Köln for our farewell dinner at Früh. This was a great trip. Tomorrow we relocate to Brussels for our Belgium Christmas Market Tour which begins on Sunday.

Our Christmas in Germany tour officially begins in Leipzig with a tour of the city, a visit to Bayerische Banhof for lunch and a sampling of their beer and dinner at Gosenschenke Ohne Bedenken. And of course the expansive Leipzig Christmas Market. A big day.
