D.A.R.E. Basketball Game:
The annual D.A.R.E. Basketball Game will be played on March 20th at Colonial Forge High School. This cash only event will feature Stafford County 5th graders playing alongside educators and law enforcement. We hope to see you out there.

Due to adverse weather conditions and the current winter storm warning, Stafford Schools will be closed on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. All activities and events scheduled for Wednesday are cancelled.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We’ll continue to monitor weather conditions closely and share updates about Thursday’s operating status tomorrow.

Please stay indoors and off the roads if possible. Take care, stay warm, and stay safe.

We’re happy to announce that schools will open on time tomorrow, Monday, January 13. Monday will be an X Day for middle and high school students.

Our crews will continue treating areas with sand and salt, but please be cautious walking to and from bus stops or your car.

We’re ready for a great start to the week and can’t wait to see everyone back in school! 🙌

We understand that for some, this unexpectedly extended winter break has been difficult. We are pleased to let you know that we will offer free meals to all Stafford students 18 and under. Meals will be served at Kate Waller Barrett Elementary and Edward E. Drew Middle from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on January 9. All students are welcome regardless of meal eligibility status. We will provide take-home breakfasts during this window as well.

We know that the unexpected closure of our schools can be frustrating. Thank you for your understanding as we keep our students safe.

Comprendemos que para algunos, esta inesperada extensión de vacaciones de invierno ha sido difícil. Nos complace dejarles saber que ofrecemos comidas gratis a todos los estudiantes de Stafford de 18 años y menos. Las comidas serán servidas en la Escuela Primaria Kate Waller Barrett y la Escuela Intermedia Edward E. Drew de 11 a.m. a 1 p.m. el 9 de enero. "Our lost and found is overflowing! If your student is missing any jackets, coats, water bottles, lunch boxes or even shoes please come check our lost and found. Just come to the front office with your ID any day during school hours or this week during our Wildcat Beats concert on Thursday, D.A.R.E. Graduation on Friday or Breakfast with Santa on Saturday. All items will be donated by the end of next week!"
