We were thrilled to attend the Alliance for International Exchange's annual conference in D.C. alongside other AIFS colleagues from Au Pair in America, Camp America, and Cultural Insurance Services International (CISI)! It was a rewarding and informative opportunity meeting with U.S. Department of State (Exchange Programs - U.S. Department of State) officials, Capitol Hill staffers, J-1 tax experts, and fellow industry professionals to stay current with regulatory and process guidance, updates, best practices, and to strengthen partnerships.
The Alliance serves as a public policy and association, as well as a federal liaison, for the community of organizations and companies administering programs. While these programs receive broad bipartisan support given their and U.S. value, navigating the evolving federal funding and landscape requires continual mutual education, a unified voice, and strong partnerships to drive effective and sustained programming.
We're thrilled to be part of the AIFS family of programs, an organization that proudly served as a โChampionโ sponsor of this 30th anniversary event and is a long-time supporter of the Alliance.
