🏰Common Disney Mistakes!
#1 - Staying off property!
So many people think they can stay off property and have the same experience but it’s just not the same! You will have a much better time if you are on property- in the Disney Bubble! Just trust me! Free transportation to the parks! And it makes it so much easier to get back and forth to the resort to take a nap or swim or just take a break. All of this means you will enjoy your vacation so much more! You will also get early entry into the theme parks!
#2 Skipping Character meals - this is the perfect way to enjoy a nice meal and also meet characters without waiting in line! I always recommend doing at least one character meal per trip!
#3 Purchasing Genie+ - I know a lot of people don’t want to buy anything else after getting to the parks but to me this one is a no brainer. My time is worth the money and I would almost always suggest buying Genie+ to save you time in the parks! I would recommend just budgeting it in when you’re planning your trip.

As a mom of 3 who has traveled to Disney on a very limited budget these are the best money saving tips for your next trip!
#1 - Disney gift cards: this will always be a great way to save money at Disney! No matter what time of year you go or what type of deal you’re already getting, if you use discounted Disney gift cards to pay for your trip you can save even more money on your trip!! I always use my target red card (save 5%) or buy Disney gift cards at Sam’s club (usually around a 3-4% savings) it may not seem like that much but it adds up fast and you can save hundreds to even a thousand dollars on a vacation by using this trick! And if you take the money you’re planning to spend on your vacation and buy Disney gift cards to use as currency for your food and souvenirs then you can save even more!🎉
#2 Have groceries delivered - Did you know you can have groceries delivered to your resort when you arrive and you can take snacks and drinks into the theme parks with you! This can save you money and time! And even the occasional meltdown. 🤪 Having snacks on hand in a backpack can help while standing in line and you can also take a soft shell cooler into the park with waters and drinks. If you need to save some money you can pack sandwiches and chips or whatever your family prefers. (Just not glass or alcohol.) And if you already have a stroller then this won’t be hard to take with you. We don’t do this a lot now that our boys are older but we have in the past. Sometimes budgeting just means bringing lunch into the park and getting to splurge on a Mickey ice cream bar for dessert and that’s what the kids remember!!❤️
#3 Buy the popcorn bucket: I say this all the time and I mean it! This is my favorite tip. I don’t care if your kids don’t ever eat popcorn at home. When you buy the popcorn they will eat it! The best part about the popcorn bucket

Let’s talk this through. In my opinion it’s better to buy the lighting lane for Tron if you can. Let me explain why.
When you purchase the lighting lane you are going to get to skip the line and go through the lighting lane when it’s your turn. There may be a small line but it won’t be much of one.
If you get a virtual queue, it’s of course free but when your number is called you will then go and stand in line. It’s also not a huge line but it will be more of a line than the lighting lane.
The best of both worlds is if you can do both!! Then you can ride twice!😍🎉
Here’s how to get the virtual queue:
1. Log out and back in right of your MDE app before doing park passes on the app
2. Click Join on the home page of your MDE.
3. Refresh that page starting at 6:59am (or 12:59pm for 2nd time of the day)
4. At 7:00am exactly (or 1pm), a button will pop up for you to join queue.
5. Your whole party should be checked already if you are all linked together as one reservation or via friends and family.
6. Click join again
7. Hopefully, you will be in and see your boarding group number!
8. If you have ANY issues, please visit a guest experience booth at the park when you arrive.
If you need more help with virtual queues and Genie+, don’t forget you can always use a travel agent (ME) to plan your trip and help with all these things! 🎉

It’s really pretty easy to get these amazing seats right in the middle if you know what you’re doing. All you have to do is book a dining package that includes priority seating for Fantasmic! You can eat lunch at the Brown Derby and then get priority seating right in the center and down on the first row or two if you want so you get an amazing view and the absolute best pictures!
And if you book your vacation with an agent like me I will book this and all your dining for you and make your trip even easier! Just tell me all the things you would like to do and see and I will do will my very best to make it happen for you!!❤️
