On November 12th, representatives from the Constellation of Starke gave their Regional Stellar Presentation in Indianapolis. Though only a small group could attend this presentation, the team hoped that through this video (created by Mirth and Whimsy, LLC.), they could bring a little bit more of the Constellation of Starke with them. This video is only a glimpse of our region. There are many more stories from people, organizations, and businesses that we'd like to share. We hope that as residents watch this video, they feel proud of where they live and motivation to help make sure it continues to progress as a vibrant, engaged, and growing community.

Angie Monahan from Koontz Lake has provided some pictures that highlight creative Stellar collaborations with Starke County organizations. Angie shared, "Last Saturday 7/27 Koontz Lake Association kicked off Pickleball in Missionary Church parking lot. We don't have dedicated courts yet, but that is a project we'll include in our Stellar Communities plan. Then later last Saturday KLA hosted a local band and we partnered w Community Services of Starke County to serve food before & during the concert to raise funds for elder services." Angie is on Koontz Lake's Entertainment Committee, the KLStellar Project Committee, and works as their social media communicator.
