We've got tables for two (and tables for four if you'd like to make it a double date.) Every ticket price includes a meal: during booking process you'll have the choice of entree and dessert.

It's a winter wonderland out there! Our "ride & dine" round-trip excursions begin on January 23, 2025. If you'd like to enjoy a relaxing train ride with us, reservations are currently available on our website: https://www.virginiascenicrailway.com

Winter Train Rides now on sale. Excursions are three-hour round-trip journeys in comfortably modernized (heated) passenger railcars. Tickets are $120 per person, and include a meal and dessert selection. Our winter season rides begin on Thursday, January 23rd.

Santa's Scenic Railway is sold out for the 2024 holiday season! If you are still hoping to get a ticket, and if you believe in a bit of magic (as we do), the best thing to do is to check our website frequently.

Santa sales take place via an online booking platform and are available first-come, first-serve. If a current ticket holder cancels their ride, that open time/date is immediately returned to the ticketing platform and is available for purchase. (There is no waitlist.)

⚠ BOARDING LOCATION CHANGE

Parts of downtown (including the train station) will be closed to vehicular traffic for the Queen City Mischief & Magic Festival this weekend.

↠ Ticketed and confirmed passengers for all regular excursions on the Virginia Scenic Railway on Saturday 9/28 and Sunday 9/29 should park and load at 650 C&O Flats.

↠ This location can be accessed from Middlebrook Avenue, just west of downtown Staunton past the entrance to Crucible Coffee.

↠ Please allow for more travel time due to heavy traffic and road closures in the area.
