Trains run Thursdays through Sundays, departing from downtown Staunton at 10:30am and 3:30pm.

These sightseeing by rail excursions through the Shenandoah Valley are leisurely three-hour round trips, perfect for relaxing with friends. We have table for two & tables for four. Every ticket includes a meal (select your choice of entree and dessert during the booking process.)

Winter Train Rides now on sale. Excursions are three-hour round-trip journeys in comfortably modernized (heated) passenger railcars. Tickets are $120 per person, and include a meal and dessert selection. Our winter season rides begin on Thursday, January 23rd.

Santa's Scenic Railway is sold out for the 2024 holiday season! If you are still hoping to get a ticket, and if you believe in a bit of magic (as we do), the best thing to do is to check our website frequently.

Santa sales take place via an online booking platform and are available first-come, first-serve. If a current ticket holder cancels their ride, that open time/date is immediately returned to the ticketing platform and is available for purchase. (There is no waitlist.)
