Saddleback Ranch A 8,000 acre fourth generation working cattle ranch 15 miles west of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Directions from Steamboat:
Follow Hwy 40 West from Steamboat.

At mile marker 122, approximately 10 miles out of town, turn left onto CR 178 take a slight left onto CR 179 and cross the railroad tracks. Follow that road 3 miles; across the rail road tracks, across the Yampa River, up a switch back hill, and past a neighborhood. Saddleback Ranch is on the right. Note: Yee Haw Tubing hill is across the street on the right, follow the drive 1.5 miles to the Long

horn Lodge. In the winter we offer:
2 hour Photo Opportunity Horseback Rides
Snowmobile Tours and Dinner Tours
Dinner Sleigh Rides
YEE HAW Tubing HIll

In the summer we offer:
Cattle Drives- a 4 hour ride moving cattle
2 hour Photo Opportunity Rides- Afternoon ride
Horseback or Wagon Dinner Rides

Steamboat Resort opens this Saturday. Alterra Mountain Company has just announced that kids will ski free the week of Dec. 7-13 at any of their North American mountain destinations, and that includes Steamboat and Winter Park. Kids 12 and under may receive a free lift ticket each day to use from Dec. 7-13. Stop by Guest Services at the base to get that free lift ticket.

Here in Steamboat Springs, we have a unique way of measuring snowfall. Ranchers use their fencing to measure unofficial snowfall. By the time we hit the middle of the ski season, the third wire is covered, usually standing three feet high. What are your snowfall predications for this winter? ❄️
