Sometimes it is the smallest of animals that capture our attention while on safari! As was the case with these very active dug beetles, filmed in slow motion by EXPLORE’s Director of Custom Travel, Katie McDonough!

Frankie’s unbelievable wildlife encounters in the Mashatu Game Reserve continued over the next few days. Of particular note was finding a cheetah coalition who’d taken down an impala. Soon enough hyenas appeared and claimed the dinner as their own!

#Worldsafariday
We are excited to celebrate the second annual #Worldsafariday!! There is much to be thankful for today, but especially we celebrate the incredible wildlife, people, experiences, and culture which make each day on safari better than the last.
Safaris allow us to experience and support Africa - our passion - which we love to share with you, our wonderful and intrepid travelers. Beyond the incredible wildlife and wide-open spaces, it’s the people who we meet along the way, the guides, rangers, conservationists, local community members, who leave us with lasting impressions and desire to travel more.
Happy World Safari Day! How are you celebrating?
Behold: the magnificent Victoria Falls at their finest! The falls typically reach peak water flow in April and it looks like this year will be no exception. The locals refer to the falls as "mosi-oa-tunya," meaning "the smoke that thunders". #wondersoftheworld #Africa #explore #exploremore #Zimbabwe #Zambia #VictoriaFalls
