Year 5 for this 36 person charter and we all limited. 6 boats for 30 gallons of all culled scallops. We threw back over 50 percent of the scallops collected and still had a full limit. Some trips are just special... Recently, Mr. Harold Bush reached out and booked a trip to celebrate his 14 year old granddaughter Ryleigh’s birthday.
We had a blast catching reds, trout, and Spanish; but I couldn’t help but think about when I first started inshore fishing both with my grandfather (Dado) and with my Dad.
I look forward to the next time I’m able to get the two of them out on the water.

This one's going to hurt for a while...
Fished the Power-Pole National Redfish Tour with Isaac yesterday and unfortunately wasn't allowed to weigh-in because of a rule change for 2024 that I wasn't aware of.
The drive-tower of my boat is too tall and while it was written in the rules, nothing was mentioned at the captain's meeting nor as I launched and left the dock. Ultimately, it's on my shoulders for not knowing the rule change.
That being said we had over 12 pounds and would have posted a Top-10... Congrats to the teams that toughed it out in some rough conditions!
