The Steinhatchee Chamber of Commerce and the CCA will be distributing 10,000 scallop sorter tools for free in Dixie and Taylor counties. We will let you know when and where they are available. If you own rental properties, please take enough to place in all your rentals so your visitors have a tool that they can keep. The tool will be similar to the one pictured.

When Todd called and told me our guest book had been ruined I was heartbroken 💔😭So many special stories & memories shared with us 🥹 He was able to save some of the pages and I’m so grateful we can keep them as a memory of the cabin before 🌀 Idalia came along.

He had put the book on top of the fridge for safe keeping but the flood waters made the fridge float into the living room 😳

We will begin rebuilding and painting this weekend 🙏❤️ And hope to have the cabin back up and running by Thanksgiving if all goes well!

Good news…the zip line still works 🎉

Not so good news…we lost fridge, washer & dryer and the brand new vacuum I just bought almost set the house on fire 🥴

But we have power and most of all we have the amazing support of this community ❤️❤️
