And then they went shopping on the 2nd floor at Steinhatchee Marina at Deadman's Bay and also came away with some nice keepers!

Jeff surprised his dad, Bart, with this half day charter here in Steinhatchee! They reeled in reds, gator trout, and more while enjoying the beauty of the day!
Yes! Steinhatchee is getting back to some normalcy 🐟

As my mind is trying to understand the devastation that Hurricane Helene left in our little community, my heart breaks.

Looking at pictures and post of the buildings that are no longer where they once were, or of the remnants of what is left;
I don't see destruction, yet a friend or neighbor. I see their smiles as we wave to one another as we pass on the road, I hear laughter as we eat together at a local restaurant, I hear my fellow captains chatting as we share our fishing or scalloping stories as we sit in the shade of the marina, I remember each client as I glance at the Gulf and towards my boat slip that is no more.

Yes, tears flowing as my heart breaks.

Yet, I know for sure two things stand strong and unwavering:
1. Our endurance to cleanup, rebuild and help one another
2. God is with us always; watching over us and guiding us as we call on him for strength and comfort.

Please continue to pray for Steinhatchee and all those who were hit by Hurricane Helene.

Please keep our little community in your prayers as Hurricane Helene just passed directly over us at a Cat 4.
Our little fishing/scalloping town has sustained extreme flooding.
This is our third direct hit within 13 months. We need your prayers.

Ferlain, an experienced angler, and Krissy, a cheerful student angler, thoroughly enjoyed their time on the water today catching a variety of fish!
The overcast sky and windy conditions didn't stop us from having fun!

FANTASTIC FRIDAY!
Do charter captains fish while on vacation? Absolutely! And they especially love taking their family fishing!
Today my husband and I took our son, Quinn, and grandson, Kepler, on the big pond for a few hours. And what a fun time we had catching Spanish mackerel, sand trout, speckled trout, lady fish and more!
Grateful for our family and their love of the outdoors!

"Team Panama City Beach" had a fun Friday scalloping in Steinhatchee with Captain Crystal Pesek!
Was a bit chilly and windy, yet they still gathered up the scallops! Then back to Steinhatchee Marina at Deadman's Bay for delicious food and cold drinks! Way to go Roy, Suzanne, Courtney, Kimberly, Reggie, and Jim! See you next year!☀️

Hurricane magnets: Jonathan, Erin & Rachel 😅😬 with Zach this year☀️
They rescheduled for today bc Hurricane Debby hit us two days before their charter. And last year they scalloped two days before H. Idailla hit us. Whoa!
Yet, both times, they filled the cooler!!

"Team Loo and Crew" made it happen today!
They swam, collected, rested a little while they reenergized with lunch and snacks, then went at it again collecting! Time did zip by on this amazingly beautiful day here in Steinhatchee!
