Today, take some time and think about those we lost on this day in 2001.
Take some time and think about how life and the world changed for everyone on that day because of hate, prejudice, and intolerance.
Take some time and think about those that protected us then and now.
Take some time and think of those that run into the fire, the battle, and the war, not away from it.
There are those among us who choose the hate, the prejudice, and the intolerance but there are also those who choose to protect and defend those that we love and this great country of ours.

Three things were made abundantly clear to me today as we ran to get coffee in this morning.
1. It’s a VERY small world.
2. There is such a thing as a guiding force.
3. Tarleton State University & Tarleton State University Rodeo Team members and are EVERYWHERE!!! 💜💜💜
As we are heading to The Juniper General Store for coffee, we had a feeling to check out a store with a cute logo on the front for some embroidery needs we have. Walking into Western Ivy we started chatting with the owners and lo and behold… we are talking to Blaine Bennetchs parents and the minute we mention where we are from.... and comes up. So many dots connected and new friends made!
The irony of us heading to get a cup of coffee and running into the parents of a who just so happens to own and operate our favorite coffee shop at home was not lost on us!! So from in Florida to Rodeo Grounds in Texas.. are everywhere!

This little bird has sprouted her wings and left the nest. This momma is both beyond excited for her and her future and a bit bewildered as to how we got to this season of life so quickly.
Maci Spivey is going to do great things at the University of Arkansas and I can’t wait to watch it all unfold.
