Thanksgiving preorders are now live!

Its that time of year again! When we first started our barbecue adventure in 2013, our favorite holiday to cook for was Thanksgiving. Our table at home always included a Bark smoked turkey. Now, we would love to offer our curated Thanksgiving menu for you to have in the comfort of your own home.

How to order a Bark Thanksgiving Family Feast

Step 1: Click on the 'Order Turkey' button below.
The order now buttons below will take you to our online store where you can find the Thanksgiving Family Feast.

Step 2: Select your pickup time.
Orders will be ready for pickup on Thanksgiving Day (November 24th) for specific time slots. There are a limited amount of pickups available for each time slot. Please choose one that works for you and go to checkout.

Step 3: Pickup your order.
Finally, on Thanksgiving day, please arrive at Bark Barbecue Cafe during your time slot and one of our team members will assist you in loading your meal into your car. The food will be ready to eat or can be enjoyed later by placing your warm food in the oven on the "keep warm" setting. More instructions will be provided during your pickup.

PLEASE NOTE - Bark Barbecue Cafe will be closed for regular business on Thanksgiving. We will only be open for Thanksgiving Family Meal pickups.

1 year seems so short when you’re having fun with amazing people. Bark Barbecue Café celebrates its first anniversary today, 11.22.22. We want to thank all of our amazing staff for their dedication and hard work. We also want to thank our incredible customers who have embraced us. We are so lucky to have you all in our lives. To celebrate, we are giving away free vanilla soft serve at the cafe today to all customers. Cheers to many more years of smoke and coffee!

Introducing Bark Music Hall – a series of outdoor live music events featuring artists, beer, wine, and of course, barbecue. First up, on Sunday September 25th starting at 2 p.m.

Most of you know that we gain a lot of inspiration from our collaborative cooking with other chefs. This weekend, while the team holds down the fort at the cafe (we are open!), a few of us will be driving up north for a special collab dinner with our friends . Reservations are pretty much full, except for a couple bar seats. Follow them and follow our journey to see what’s cooking.

We’ve all got a lot of work to do on healing our country but we are lucky to have the bravest men and women who sacrifice their lives every day to grant us the freedoms we enjoy. God bless our military and this country.

Growing up, BLT was my favorite summer sandwich. Today, we are launching our version of it as a limited time summer special - PBLT. Smoked and seared pork belly, heirloom tomatoes, butter lettuce and mayo on toasted rye bread. It’s so simple and so good. See you all on the island!

This weekend was also bittersweet. We got to slice briskets and tend fires for the last time (for now) with who has become not just a great friend but part of the bark barbecue family. Thank you for all your help and support. We will see you soon!

Barbecue talk - properly smoked ribs shouldn’t be “fall off the bone.” If ribs are completely slipping off the bones, it’s probably over cooked and mushy in texture. The goal is to have ribs that are tender but still have a tiny amount of resistance when you bite into it, aka “bite through.” Now stop scrolling and come grab some of our sticky spare ribs.
