In the coming weeks, Walt Disney World & Disneyland will begin piloting Lightning Lane Premier Pass.

This new service will provide guests one-time entry to each available Lightning Lane entrance in the theme park they are visiting that day- this includes both multipass and singlepass attractions, but with this premier service, guests will not need to book an experience time. Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be a premium offering, and prices will vary based on date and theme park.

At Walt Disney World, it will be available to guests staying at Disney Deluxe and Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts and may be purchased up to 7 days in advance of their stay. It will only be valid for use in one park of the guest’s choice per day. First available date will be October 30, 2024.

At Disneyland, it will be available first come, first served 2 days in advance of a theme park reservation and will be valid for use in both theme parks. First available date is October 23, 2024.

Good morning from Disney’s Polynesian Village Inn, where we have been spending the second part of our vacation. First up today, breakfast at Chef Mickey’s and then some pool time before Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party this evening!

A successful morning at Animal Kingdom! Just a few of our adventures… Kilimanjaro Safari, Expedition Everest, Kali River Rapids, and Bugs Life 3D. Special appearance by Kevin, and we even grabbed some yummy snacks!

First leg of our trip, we are staying at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn and Villas in a studio villa. It’s been several years since we’ve stayed here and we were so happy to see these updated rooms! Best part, for us, is the convenience to Epcot. Last night was extended evening hours for deluxe resort guests at Epcot, and boy was it nice to just take a short walk back to our room after a full day in the parks!

Magic Kingdom After Hours events are something you should experience!!! This separately ticketed event takes place select times of the year on select evenings. Guests get to experience rides and attractions with much lower wait times, as well as being able to indulge in endless treats/ snacks such as Mickey ice cream bars and popcorn! We rode Tron multiple times!!!! This event also takes place in Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

Last week we had the opportunity to tour Swan and Dolphin Resorts. These are a great option for families who enjoy being near Epcot/ Hollywood Studios. Though they are not technically Disney resorts, they do carry some of the same conveniences. Swan has been in the process of refurbishing rooms, which you will see below. Dolphin will begin this refurb later this year. The pools are wonderful and can be shared between the two sections. You also have several wonderful restaurant options!!
