🚤 Summer Fun at Cattail Cabins! 🚤
"My husband and in-laws stayed here for a little lake house trip and we enjoyed our trip very much! We spent a couple of days kayaking/canoeing and we brought tubes, tied off the dock, and floated for several hours. It was so relaxing! We also had a couple of bonfires. The house setup was awesome. We had plenty of space for 6 adults with room to spare. Brad was very easy to communicate with!"

"We had an excellent time at the Cottage. My whole family enjoyed the fire pit, roasting s'mores on the warm summer nights. The ping pong table was a hit with my teen. My husband and son even ventured on the kayaks and went around the lake a couple of times. The house was very clean with plenty of towels and bedding. The welcome book was very thorough. 'Our stay was a lot of fun! The cabin accommodates a large group very well and had everything we needed. We had fun catching fish, kayaking, canoeing and pedaling out on the pedal boat. The fire pit fit us all comfortably as well. The towns of Hayward and Stone Lake are close by and we took in a festival, lumberjack show and visited some great coffee shops and breweries. “We had a wonderful stay at Brad’s Little Sand Lodge. Brad was extremely clear with his instruction and was a great communicator. Ping Pong table was lots of fun, fire pit was used almost every night we were there, and it was great that there was firewood to use. It was a beautiful cabin on a small lake and was able to catch some small blue gill and crappie right off the dock. The canoe and kayaks were great to be able to take a quick paddle around the lake. Lots of cute towns within a 15-30minute drive. The Red School house was a great little wine bar within walking distance that had a chill vibe with local artists performing nightly. A wonderful cabin, super cozy and everything was perfect for our group of 9 people and 2 dogs. Thank you Brad!”

“We stayed at Brad's place with a few of my adult family members. We planned an extended weekend of utving around the area so we did not spend much time down by the lake or by the fire in the backyard but we did gather on the back deck at the end of the night after 3 long days of wheeling and it was perfect. It was so quiet and peaceful. The only thing we did not like was that it felt like we were right on top of the neighbors but luckily the neighbors were not up so it did feel private. The inside of the house was large and open with plenty of space for everyone in our group. We would definitely recommend this place to friends!”

“We rented the lakeside cabin for an adult cousin get together and it worked out perfectly! It would have worked great for kiddos too with the game room downstairs, family friendly activities ample sleeping spaces. When we all meet at the cabin, all of our reactions were similar - beautiful cabin, beautiful views, it was clean and welcoming. There was a detailed Welcome Book with handy and clearly written information, however we didn’t need to look up details in the book because Brad provided detailed directions on how to find the cabin, how to clearly lock and unlock the doors and how the heat/ac functioned. Check out was easy and with a very simple checklist. There was plenty to do - water accessories, grill, deck lounging, game room, games, nearby restaurants, winery, an Amish greenhouse and a local distillery (and we didn’t even venture toward Hayward!) Great hosts in a great location - would recommend.”

“Brad’s place was exactly as described. He gave very clear tips for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The lake is beautiful for a wintry stay, and we loved the fireplaces and ping pong table. I’m sure this place is a total blast in the summer time with the dock and kayaks!! Pay close attention to Brad’s descriptions, as we had to bring a decent amount of our own kitchen appliances, spices, and other odds and ends. It wasn’t a big inconvenience to me at all and his directions are very helpful — just something to be aware of! Brad’s driving directions were very helpful too, as GPS tries to lead you away from the cabin. There’s another Airbnb property next door but we were still able to maintain enough privacy. Overall, a great stay for a large group and Brad was very communicative and helpful!”
