Long before Selma, Ms. Amelia Boynton-Robinson was mobilizing communities, teaching, and empowering Black families under the shadow of Jim Crow. In Selma, she marched at the front, faced violence head-on, and became a catalyst for change. Her courage on that bridge still inspires the fight for justice today.
Ms. Amelia Boynton-Robinson, a Selma to Montgomery marches leader.
