All pieces are created by Jorge Castaneda, a woodworker from Stonington, Maine, with over 50 years of experience building houses, boats, furniture, and turning. Woods such as maple, birch, ash, black locust, cherry, elm and others are used, harvested locally from the island and from around the state of Maine. Blown down, broken or dead trees, as well as other woods from around the country, are crafted into one-of-a-kind pieces, that will serve you and your family for generations.

Dear friends,
These days health problems, both my wife's and my own, are keeping my production to a very modest amount, besides the ones made to order. This year I'll be at both:
The Stonington Farmer's Market on Fridays, 10 to 12 noon.
and the Blue Hill Farmer's Market, Saturdays 9:00 to 11:30.
