We got to see the mapping boats go by yesterday! They are about 6 feet long, Unmanned Surface Vehicles or catamarans. They are conducting contour mapping to update charts for the lake - something fishermen will surely appreciate! Link to news article with more info in comments.

After preparing the property for our guests, I popped over to for a frozen treat - much needed on this hot day! Patriot Point is a fixture of the area, not only as a family-friendly destination, but they also provide several essential services for the community!
