The purpose of the Stromsburg Chamber of Commerce is:
1. To advance all of the business, professional, civic and cultural interests of the community of Stromsburg, Nebraska.
2. To encourage growth of existing business activities and to give assistance to any new firms or individuals seeking location in Stromsburg.
3. To support all activities believed to be beneficial to the community and its citi

zens.
4. To assist in developing and furthering the agricultural interests of the surrounding communities.
5. To cultivate the friendship and good will of all neighboring communities.
6. To promote the welfare of all Stromsburg citizens. Any person, association, corporation, partnership or estate having an interest in the objectives of the Chamber shall be eligible to apply for membership.

The Tree Lighting in the Square is quickly approaching! The signs are out, but several trees are still available. Stop by Heritage Bank and choose which tree you would like to decorate today.

**I have been asked a couple times this week-No, there is not a fee associated with decorating a tree. Just your own lights and extension cord.

Can you spot a fake bill? Knowing how to detect counterfeit currency is crucial for both businesses and individuals to avoid financial losses.

Cornerstone Bank is offering a free hands-on counterfeit money training seminar on Thursday, October 17th, at the Viking Center in Stromsburg, Nebraska, starting at noon.

This hands-on seminar is open to the public, and it's a "bring your own lunch" event. Contact Kim Mortensen at (402) 875-2726 for more information.
