The Softball Cruise Clinic 2025 is Thrilled to announce as one of our Presenters Leah O'Brien Amico

Leah Amico is a three-time Olympic gold medalist with USA Softball, a two-time World Champion, a
National Softball Hall of Fame Inductee in 2009, and a three-time national champion at The University
of Arizona. At Arizona, Leah was also honored as a three-time First Team All-American and a three-time
First Team Academic All-American for her excellence both on the field and in the classroom. Known for
being one of the most clutch hitters of all time, Leah still holds the record for highest batting average in
the Women’s College World Series. Leah is also a college softball analyst with ESPN and Westwood
One Sports, where she imparts her love and knowledge of the game to many fans across the world.
Experiencing triumphs and overcoming trials taught Leah how to perform in pressure situations and
helped her climb to new heights of success. The lessons she learned during her collegiate and Olympic
journeys have helped Leah to pass on knowledge that can be applied in any career field

This will be A great experience & similar to my Softball Cruise Clinics I have done 4 times. This will also be a Charity Fundraiser for Multiple Myeloma ( A disease I have)

Hello Softball Cruise Clinic Fans, I am sorry to say the land clinic idea for Aug 12-15 in the Poconos of PA is in need of commitment to move forward. Kalahari Resort will not allow a group block to be set up without a penalty clause if rooms are not sold. As this is a FUNDRAISER for Myeloma I can not take that risk. What I need is responses from those of you interested in attending so I can see if 10 plus rooms will be utilized. I can not give you a firm price BUT 299.00 plus tax & 29.00 per night resort fee will most likely cover the Resort & Clinic for a family of 4. Dates again are Aug 12-15 2024. We will have 2 days Aug 13 & 14 on a field for live Softball Clinic. Classroom sessions are a possibility but may have to be dropped since meeting space is extra cost. Water Park tickets are included & plenty of free time to utilize. Meals, Drinks are NOT included. We may possibly set up a Group Dinner at extra cost in the Poconos. Was hoping to have all the final info to post but dealing with Kalahari has NOT been easy. Dates are Aug 12-15 2024 if we move ahead. Pricing will be approx 299.00 per night plus taxes & Resort fee ( Taxes 9%, resort fee 29.99 per night) Rooms hold up to 4 at these rates. This price INCLUDES the Softball Clinic ( up to 2 players per family) & Water Park admission. We will ask for donations to Support Myeloma & Cancer Charity at the event. Presenter to be announced soon if we move ahead. Issue preventing finalizing is Resort wants me to guarantee sale of rooms I hold & will not allow me to give back if not sold even if i do months before event. As a Charity event I can not take on that risk. Softball Cruise Clinic IV begins tomorrow!!!Hard to believe it was 13 years ago for Softball Cruise Clinic I Feb 2010. Started off with Monica Abbott as our first Presenter along with Marc Dagenais, Dave Paetkau & Dalton Ruer. Since then we have had Crystal Bustos, Taryne Mowatt, Tony Abbatine & Dana Reiss. Joining us for this clinic is Alex Maclean along with Dana. We are the originator of Softball at sea & still the only game in town!. Details on Softball Cruise Clinic V are on hold but hoping for 2025. I check in to Sloan Kettering for a Stem Cell transplant a day after we return from the Clinic this week. Once I win my battle plans for Softball Cruise Clinic V will be announced. Thanks for your Interest & Patience.
