We have had a very special guest last Saturday, celebrating his 80th birthday. Great time aboard. I WAANT be like him when (if) I will reach is venerable age! Climbing stairs like a teenager!! I love Classic music, and they requested it. So we have enjoyed Mozart, Strauss, Dvorak, Puccini, Callas. Great time and beautiful weather, Thanks Anthony, thanks Jim. -Capt Dany

Good morning! I Hope you all are safe and sound. Our Silverton 33 will be out of service starting Wednesday the 13th until Friday the 22nd. She need bottom paint job and stern drives service, and some minor repairs. It will be available for booking starting Saturday 23rd of May.

We have the pleasure to introduce our new dinner Menu that will be available on "Obsession" yacht starting today:

First course (please pick one for both guests):

-Porcini mushrooms Risotto Alpi style in white truffle and Fontina cheese sauce
-Penne pasta "Alla Amatriciana", an Italian classic with wood smoked bacon, Vidalia onion, tomato,butter and EVOO sauce
-Penne pasta "Alla Carbonara", the REAL one, tossed in a creamy eggs,parmesan,cream and smoked bacon sauce.
-Farfalle pasta 'Alla Dany", tossed in a Mortadella, yellow and red peppers,parmesan cheese and cream sauce.
- "Obsession" Lentil soup Tuscany style with garlic/parmesan croutons (Recipe is a secret!!)
-Tortellini alla Panna, tossed in a cream/parmesan sauce with white truffle.

Second course:

-Filet mignon "Alla Rossini", a grilled prime cut filet grilled butterfly then stuffed with Fontina cheese and Parma prosciutto.
- Salsiccia stufata con fagioli: Italian (real from Italy) sausage sautee in a tomato/onion/brown beans and EVOO sauce, served with fresh bread.
-Shrimp Kabobs Mediterranean style. Grilled, seasoned by hands each one with our secret mix. It seems they are NEVER enough!!
- Filet mignon grilled Tuscany style, cooked as you like
-Tilapia alla Mugnaia: Fresh Tilapia fillets tossed in flour then soutee in a onion/EVOO/white wine sauce
-Grilled chicken drums seasoned as in Venice people do.Lovely and delicate!

RENT YOUR OWN YACHT FOR A DAY OR LONG WEEKEND (Stuart)

LUNA CHARTERS LLC offers to you the opportunity to rent a luxury yacht for your own use (If you are an expert
mariner) or with an USCG licensed Captain if needed.
The vessel is a 2000 Silverton 312 sedan bridge, 32.4' LOA, 11.6' beam, 11270 lbs displacement, 2 x 280HP Mercruiser inboard engines, 24 ml/h cruise speed, 9 ml/h dislocating speed. Full galley, sleeps 4 in 2 separate staterooms.

RENTAL OFFERS:
Half day (4 hrs) $ 450
Day (8 hrs) $ 900
Extended day (include
overnight and return at 10am) $ 1450
SPECIAL WEEK END: pick up Friday at 4pm, return Monday at 10am $ 2350
CAPTAIN (if needed): half day $ 150; day $ 250; extended day $ 350; long week end special $ 600.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
-If rented without Captain the vessel MUST remain within US territorial waters (15 miles) and the person in charge must know rules within COLREG line.
-The vessel is consigned with full or almost full tanks and is equipped with flow meters. Meters will be zeroed before the vessel leaves the home dock. The renter has the option to re-fuel an equal amount of the consumption read on the flow meters before the return or LUNA CHARTERS will charge the gallons consumption at $ 4.10/gal
-The renter in charge must attend a short training (about 1 hr) to learn about the vessel safety devices and operating systems.
- Max number of people with hired Captain: 6. Max number of people without Captain: 10. Please advise if children's under 12 YO will be aboard.
- A tip must be provided to the Captain and/or the fisherman, if hired.

After almost 3 months of re-fit and a weekend long testing cruise we have finally sailed for the first Dinner Cruise with "Obsession", the new vessel we have added to our fleet. Our first two guests, a lovely couple, have given us back in appreciation and compliments really more of what we were expecting. Great night, great people! Shortly we will publish the new Menu!
