Got to see the new Country Bears Jamboree last night! What are my thoughts?

I absolutely loved it! I felt a little sad when I heard that the show was going to be closed for a few months to introduce a new show, because the original was so nostalgic for me. Sometimes change is a good thing, though! The original show wasn’t one that made sense to so many Disney guests, but this show is a perfect mix of immersive theming and Disney magic. I laughed, I sang, I clapped, I danced in my seat. Have you seen it yet? What did you think?

Last night, I attended a beautiful wedding for a couple who will be checking into THIS resort on Thursday on the island of Tahiti for their dream honeymoon! After a few days in Tahiti, they’ll be hopping over to the island of Moorea for 3 nights in an overwater bungalow.

Sure, you could do the research and book the cruise on your own… but what about the elements you might not think about?

Like: which side of the ship your stateroom is on to ensure that you have the best view possible (if booked early enough)? Which floor your room is on to avoid noise?

Lots of planning pieces that are second nature for me to consider that could be missed by booking on your own.
Don’t take the chance on missing out on the best possible views on the trip of your dreams!

Btw- I’m finding 10 day Mediterranean cruises for spring 2025 at $4000 for a couple in a balcony stateroom. 7-day cruises for later in the spring, into early summer are less than that.

While Alaskan cruises are an exciting way to see the beauty of Alaska, did you know that *most* cruises only take you to a very small portion of the state? See that circle? That’s it- they focus on that circle and then generally either start or stop at Seward.

It makes sense, right? Alaska is HUGE- larger than Texas, so a cruise is only going to take you to the coastal areas. But how do you really see more of Alaska? A cruise tour!

Cruise tours give you an opportunity to see so much more of Alaska than what you see from your ship! My favorite itinerary that I’ve dug into so far is an 11 night itinerary that takes you into Fairbanks, which (as you can see from the map) is much farther into Alaska than the coast. The best part about cruise tours is that they are a guided tour and include some of your experiences, lodging, and transportation to and from each destination. That will give you the peace of mind and security as you navigate your way through America’s Last Frontier!

… to WDW Facebook groups, PLEASE! I beg you!

It might sound dramatic, but I’ve had a lot of time in the car today scrolling, and just today I’ve seen SO much misinformation in these groups.

It costs you the same amount of money to book with an agent as it does to book directly through Disney. But when you book with an agent, you get peace of mind knowing that the information you’re getting is the most up to date. So why would you want to spend all that time figuring things out on your own? Or risk getting inaccurate information from your local FB mom group?

Share the Magic has agents (or owners😉) in the parks weekly, so even when I haven’t been to Disney in several months myself, I have access to the most up to date information out there.

So save yourself some time and book with an agent 🩷

Congratulations to a special family who has booked their tickets to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party the week before Halloween! 🎃

I absolutely love the special events at Walt Disney World because not only are park hours modified and extended for the party, but the parties include special activities that aren’t usually available during regular park hours.

There’s a lot of misconceptions and questions about my job as a Travel Agent, so I’d love to bust some myths! I shared this on my personal Facebook profile the other day, but I know that many of you aren’t on that profile, so I wanted to share it here too (and I’ve added another myth since I originally posted 😉):

1. “There must be a hidden charge!”- Nope! While I am commission based and do not make anything if you don’t book through me, I’m fortunate enough to have had a great start with my business. My services are and will always be complimentary to anyone that books with me.

2. “I’m not going to Disney, so you probably can’t help” - I book SO much more than Disney! I am able to book a wide range of hotels, cruises, custom domestic and international trips, really most vacations that you might be interested in.

3. “My trip is too small for you to book!”- no trip is too small - I’ve booked multiple trips that were between 1-3 nights. I’m grateful for every booking big or small 🫶

4. “You must be able to beat this price?” - While my services start with booking your trip, I am not a booking agent. My time is spent finding the best accommodation for your family, and then advising you on ways to make your trip the best possible which takes time, knowledge, and research. Anyone can “beat a price.” You will get honesty from me on the pros and cons of options sent your way. Because I’m looking at pricing on various destinations daily, I can spot a good promotion vs really good marketing, but my job will never be to “beat any price.” My job is to find you the best value, quality, and package at your price point, and to also be honest about whether the budget you have in mind matches what you’re looking for in your trip. The real fun begins after we book, when we get to fine tune your details.

5. “I don’t want someone else in control of my trip!” That’s fine! You can book with me and then take control of the rest of your trip with or without anymore help from me.

I hope that you’ll choose to keep me in mind when you’re booking your own vacations, and that you’ll refer me to your friends and family that are planning. I’ve truly loved getting to help people plan the trips of their dreams!

It’s not possible to be an expert in *every* destination, but it IS important to book with a travel agent who travels!

It’s my job to think of as many important details as possible to make your trip as easy as I can. Nothing is perfect- there are always things outside of our control (weather, etc), but to have someone on your side, providing you with support as you navigate and problem solve is invaluable. Because I’ve experienced travel in many destinations (both domestic and international), I spend a lot of time considering different scenarios and thinking about and planning for your trip even when you don’t have time to 🩷

And the best part is that you never pay more by booking with me than you would by booking on your own!
