Forgot to come back yesterday and share about my favorite coaster for Roller Coaster Day! Here it is: Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind at Epcot! I love it for so many reasons! Have you ridden this one?
Happy National Rollercoaster Day! This one is a big nope for me😂 I’ve ridden it once and realized that I’ve gone soft since having kids. It felt like an out of body experience 😂 I’ll share about my favorite coaster in Orlando later today! Have you ridden Velocicoaster at Islands of Adventure before?
Listen, I’m not telling you to drive in a storm, but if you’re already in Orlando when a storm comes to Florida, wait times for rides at Walt Disney World drop dramatically!
Voices of Liberty
Have you seen the Voices of Liberty at Epcot? If not, you are missing out! This video gives you a sneak peek, but there’s nothing like sitting in the rotunda of the American Adventure Pavilion where the acoustics help their voices wrap you up in a warm blanket of harmonies.
When the show is over, I usually have tears in my eyes and feel ready to wave a flag 😂 fun fact: if someone asked me to choose a job at Disney, this would probably be the one I would choose 😉
If YOU could work at Disney, what would you want your job to be?
Happy Fourth, friends! 🇺🇸💥
Velocicoaster has been open for 3 years today! This one is a big NOPE for me- I rode it once and won’t ride it again 😂 but Cory rode it for the first time when we went recently and absolutely loved it. Mom life has made me a 🐔 #velocicoaster #universalorlando #islandsofadventure #travelagent
Ferrying back from Tortola BVI this morning to St Thomas USVI to catch our flight home. What. A. Trip!
Norman Island- the inspiration behind Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island
Years and years of memories as these girls’ momma! I’m so grateful. Happy Mother’s Day!
Macho Picchu: one of the 7 wonders of the World and quite an amazing experience! It’s amazing what the Incans built around 600 years ago in an area that is STILL very remote.
Did you know Machu Picchu was constructed atop two fault lines? Supposedly the Incan stones “dance” (bounce) when tremors are in the area. Thankfully I didn’t get to experience that part myself when I visited 🫠
Happy World Book Day 📚 These books (and my kindle) and I have been on lots of adventures today! #worldbookday #travelagent #booksandtravel
I *am* actually happy when I’m working, this is my look of concentration 😂 Being a travel agent is SO much more than just clicking “book” for you. This list doesn’t even cover every single task that I complete behind the scenes to save you time and bring more value to your trip. Have you used a travel agent before? #travelagent #behindthescenes
BOOKED! For almost 16 years, my dad has been traveling to Tortola, BVI for mission work. I’ve wanted to go for years, but it just hasn’t worked out. This time, I *finally* get to join him and hug the necks of the people who I’ve heard him and my mom talk about for years! Excited is an understatement! I absolutely can’t wait!
Did you know that you can watch the fireworks for free at the Polynesian Resort? If you’re staying at another Walt Disney World Resort, just take a bus to Magic Kingdom, and then hop on the monorail to the Polynesian. If you’re not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, take your car to Disney Springs (free parking!) for dinner and shopping, and then take a bus from there directly to the Polynesian Resort. Not only will you get to view Happily Ever After, you’ll also have prime viewing of the Electrical Water Pageant in the Seven Seas Lagoon. Note: if you’re able to snag a reservation at Ohana for dinner (ask your travel agent to do this for you!), you can park your car on site at the Polynesian Resort for 3 hours 😉
Did you know you can enjoy pianists at Casey’s Corner in Magic Kingdom every day? The schedule can be found in your My Disney Experience app under entertainment. If you’re already on Main Street for the 3:00 Festival of Fantasy Parade, the 3:40 time would be perfect. You could follow that with the Friendship Faire stage show at 4:00. Aaaand then you’ve squeezed in 3 activities in just overone hour at Magic Kingdom 😉
We got SO lucky at Universal Orlando in November and saw the Death Eaters come out for a little show in Diagon Alley. Have you ever seen them when visiting?
Using the moving sidewalks to get some energy out before our second flight of the day. Watch till the end for a little Skylar flair 😂
