Sunset Lagoon is a perfect Door County vacation cabin with a private boat launch and dock. We love to fish and spend time on the water on our boat. This was absolutely perfect set up for us along with great comunication with the property owner whenever was needed. The cabin is well maintained, clean with well equipped kitchen. There is a separate freezer for fish guts, cutting board and table. Also outside shower was a nice feature. We highly recommend to everyone, you won't be disappointed! - Peter

The top 18 fish in the 40th annual K/D Salmon Tournament have now ALL been caught in Door County! (Pictured) Elisabeth Teskie of Green Bay moved into the No. 2 spot with a 38-1/2-inch, 30.94-pounder at Baileys Harbor this morning!

Over 250 20-pound-plus Chinooks have already been weighed at the midway point of the 10-day K/D Salmon Tournament. The top 101 fish in the 40th annual event are all 24 pounds and up, and four 30-pound-plus salmon have been registered.

For the second straight day, Baileys Harbor saw a new second place fish hit the scale. Elisabeth Teskie’s 30.94-pound trophy Chinook was landed around 7 a.m. after smacking a spoon.

South winds picked up soon after, and by late afternoon, a small craft advisory was in place. The advisory continues Wednesday with strong southwest winds veering west in the afternoon. Things should settle Thursday, and anglers could find cooler water.
