Great day on the water. Not only did the weather cooperate the tuna did as well. and .tconstruction along with Nelson & Rick D put on a clinic. Catching their boat limit of bluefin tuna. After the cooler was full, these boys continued to play catch and release. Epic day for sure and Nelson got his very first bluefin. Thanks guys I greatly appreciate your kindness, friendship, generosity and caring. It’s always such a treat to fish with these guys. Also want to welcome Big Rick to the Reel Busy family. Funny story is that Rick’s daughter was in my PE class as a student 18yrs ago. That’s not the funny part. Rick makes unbelievable striped bass plugs, under the name Strong Island Lures and Rick sent his daughter in with a plug or two as a gift for me one year. Now just through mutual friends I got to shake Rick’s hand, put him on tuna and spend some time getting to know a passionate fisherman. Talk about full circle. Again thank you.

very good trip with three very good anglers. The Seltz Boys worked hard for trophy size striped bass and on the whistle were rewarded. As a consolation for their efforts the Seltz boys were rewarded with a boat limit and than some of quality sea bass to 4.6lbs. We got to see a full array of weather, from wind, heavy rain, fog and the beloved sun even made an appearance. The most exciting part was watching a 250lb plus mako shark make a meal of a 40lb bass 5ft from the boat minutes after its release. I still have some availability if you’re looking for a private Striped Bass, sea bass or tuna charter fishing trip.

So proud to be a part of and the girls varsity lacrosse team. These girls worked their tails off all season learning new things in practice and putting them into action on the field. Each and every one of these young ladies did their parts and than some. Finishing off their undefeated season with a record of 23wins and zero loses. It was truly a gift watching the girls progress as a single unit which culminated into winning the New York State Class C Championship game this morning at SUNY Cortland. Congrats to the coaching staff for having a vision and putting in the time to lead the drive for these girls to become the First Ever, in program history, SAYVILLE GIRLS VARSITY LACROSSE NEW YORK STATE CHAMPIONS.

The way that you drive your own destiny by being self motivated, selfless, humble and ONE HELL of a GOAL KEEPER. Keep believing, keep improving, and stay hungry there is more work to be done. IOYB. MANHATTAN CUP 2024 complete. What a great event. I’m honored to be a part of this catch and release striped bass tournament run out of Liberty Landing Marina in NJ. We get a chance to show our appreciation to the men and women that give us the freedoms that we enjoy, by taking them fishing against a very tough and competitive fishing tournament line-up. We get to compete against some of the northeast’s best captains and anglers for the covenanted Cup . This year we had the boys from onboard for a day on the water chasing, tagging and releasing a few striped bass. Of course we lost the biggest fish that anyone had never seen, but that did not slow us down. The boys of and searched far and wide and put in a good day on the water. Princeton Tec has been donating to the Manhattan Cup for over 20yrs so to have John, Doug and Dave onboard was a true learning experience for me to understand how much time, money and effort go into this event. Which falls short of that given by our brave service members. For me none of this would be possible without the generous donations for our veterans from and R.W.Truck Supply. From the most amazing shirts and team jerseys from to super comfy chairs and generous donations from and RW Truck Supply. everyone was a winner today. Special congratulations go out to the winner of the Manhattan Cup aboard the boat. Mike landed and fished that with length and girth measurements weighed in at an estimated 61lbs. Congrats to those guys. Of course the most important thing is that we provide a great day to the men and women who keep us safe while risking their own mental, physical and emotional health. Thank you and a fishy salute to our brave men and women of the armed forces. I’m proud and honored to be able to help them and thank them for their service.
